Body Temple was founded over 10 years ago in the pristine, unspoilt Byron Bay shire in 1996 by two highly skilled and trained aromatherapists.  It all began when they realised that the personal care products their family and friends were using on a daily basis contained potential carcinogens and disease causing agents. They embarked on a journey to research and develop a complete range which not only harnessed the powers of Mother Nature but was 100% natural and effective.

Today, Body Temple continues on that fervour and is committed to providing superior skin care, pure mineral makeup, spa & bath and aromatheraphy products that bring balance and harmony to your body and mind.

Body Temple encapsulates the pure tranquillity of Australia, combining locally and globally sourced ingredients with therapeutic levels of active herbal and plant extracts, essential oils, vitamins and minerals.  Body Temple constantly improves and refines their products through extensive research to meet individual needs in this ever changing society.

Our products can be found in boutiques, salons and high-end markets both locally and internationally. We go to great lengths, including close collaboration with distinguished and respected scientists, to find and test the most natural and beneficial plant extracts and oils, and naturally occurring minerals to use in our products.

Our ingredients are sourced locally and from around the world, assessed according to stringent international standards, and tested independently to provide analytical and safety data.

All ingredients including essential oils are fully analysed for authenticity using state of the art Gas Chromatography - Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) technology. Our strict quality control standards, traceability and independent laboratory testing ensure product integrity. Products have demonstrated to work effectively within hands on clinic environments and have produced excellent results.

Organic ingredients used in Body Temple Products have been independently certified to international food and cosmetic grade standards by some of the world's most respected organic certifying organisations, namely, Australian Certified Organic (ACO), NASAA (AQIS & IFOAM accredited), Biological Farmers of Australia (BFA) and EcoCert

We have policies to ensure the products we supply are not tested on animals and are GMO free – we are happy to provide documentations upon request. MSDS are available as well as detailed product analysis, conformity and specifications.
